OCI or DC Chemicals in Korea, who is major manufacturer of Polysilicon in Korea has  announced  financial results for its 2009 fourth quarter and fiscal year 2009 which ended Dec. 31, 2009 OCI has produce also organic and inorganic chemicals  Total revenue is 2,101.8 billion KRW(about 1,751.5 million USD exchange rate is 1,200KRW/1USD) revenue of polysilicon 803.1billion KRW(about 669.25 million USD) in 2009 OCI is also re-start construction of No 3 polysilicon production plant 10,000MT/year will be complete Dec. this year  about 2010 business for polysilicon, OCI has expect more over capacity of poly silicon in Worldwide  because major and new producers of polysilicon has expand his production capacity therefore he will be concentrated for high quality and high purity polysilicon for high eff. cell   

Completion of OCI's Second Polysilicon Plant - OCI becomes World's No. 2 polysilicon maker with 16,500 MT production capacity - OCI commemorated the completion of its second polysilicon plant (P2) in Gunsan on September 29, 2009. Approximately 500 people attended the ceremony, including Chairman Soo Young Lee, President Woo Sug Baik and other executives from OCI, North Jeolla Province Governor Wanju Kim, National Assemblyman Bongkyun Kang, Gunsan Mayor Dongshin Moon, various officials from the central and provincial governments, key customers and Gunsan residents. The new plant has an annual production capacity of 10,000 metric tons. OCI, the only Korean company that has been able to develop its own polysilicon manufacturing technology, invested a total of 1.01 trillion won in the Gunsan complex, and with the completion of its second polysilicon plant it now has a manufacturing capacity of 16,500 metric tons per year.
